The Client:
Our client, based in the western suburbs of Perth, is a well-funded, growing aged care provider experiencing solid growth. The high performing finance team is seeking to add an Accounting professional to take over the responsibilities of a Accountant, assisting the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager.
The Role:
The successful Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following:
- Responsible for Fixed Asset Accounting and other Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis;
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of indirect taxes, specifically BAS and FBT;
- Assist with the half-year and year-end external audit process;
- Assist with financial analysis projects
- Assist with Group Reporting.
The Candidate:
- Newly qualified or near-completion of CA/CPA or equivalent;
- Previous experience in a commercial technical financial accounting position is ideal, however would consider first mover from Big 4 Audit & Assurance Advisory;
- Strong initiative and systems skills
- Strong communication skills
- Available to start immediately or within 1 weeks-notice period
