About the business

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will utilise your strong accounting and interrelationship skills across the business of approximately 75 employees.
About the role
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Financial Accounting:
- Ensure month end completion.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled online.
- Manage year end statutory audit and prepare financial statement drafts.
- Manage BAS, IAS, PAYG and FBT returns.
- Assist in company income tax return and address ATO queries.
Inventory Accounting:
- Ensure all aspects of inventory accounting are conducted.
- Provide daily / weekly inventory reports as required.
- Be key liaison point between Supply Chain and Finance.
Management Accounting:
- Prepare annual budgets / quarterly forecasts for assigned Business Units.
- Analyse P&L (actual vs. plan / forecast) and GM fluctuation.
- Produce monthly management pack detailing performance for assigned Business Units.
Financial Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure SOX compliance requirements are met.
- Ensure the integrity of SAP/HFM reporting structure.
Your experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting / Finance (Essential).
- 8+ years' experience gained in a Finance department of a multi-national organisation (Desirable).
- CA / CPA qualified or studying (Essential).
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel) (Essential).
- Medical / pharmaceutical industry experience (Desirable).
- SAP and HFM experience (Essential).
- TM1 experience (Desirable).
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic / multi priority environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to set priorities and take responsibility for results.
