About the role:

WorkPac are urgently seeking a highly experienced Management Accountant for a 6 month contract in the Pilbara with Rio Tinto, FIFO ex Perth. We are searching for a Financial Professional to provide financial advice to Rio Tinto's mining and supply chain business units through quality analysis and insights to drive improved business performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with Management/Superintendents to identify, advise and evaluate productivity.
• Support and ensure accounting processes are embedded in site operations.
• Create monthly financial reports and assess against forecasted data.

Skills and Experience:

• Accounting qualification - CPA/CA.
• Understanding of Business panning, analysis and diagnostics within the financial sector.
• Exceptional skills with MS Excel including Data Analysis and Pivot Tables.
• Understanding of Finance within the Mining Industry will be Beneficial.
