The Opportunity

Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing Property Developer based in the CBD, who are backed by overseas private investors. They currently have $1 billion worth of projects underway, with a further $1 billion in the pipeline. You will act as a key player within the accounting function, working closely with a CFO who has over 10 years Property & Construction experience.

The Challenge

As part of this role you will be required to provide accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis which will enable the CFO, CEO and Board to make strategic operational decisions.  Your main responsibilities will include;

• Daily/weekly cash flow reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, depreciation, amortisation, petty cash, capitalisation of costs, bank/loan reconciliations as required for multiple entities).
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly GST and BAS preparation for multiple entities.
• Assisting with the preparation of the timely preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports for various project/development entities.
• Review and maintenance of fixed asset registers.
• Management of the AP, AR and Payroll function.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 5-8 years experience in an accounting position, with at least one years experience within the Property Development, Construction or Asset Management sector.
• You will be CPA or CA qualified, or close to achieving.
• High levels of initiative and a proactive and forward thinking attitude.
• Possibly you speak Mandarin, however this is not required.
