A leader in their industry, this global business has grown year on year and is focused on delivering high quality products to their customers around the world. They are continually looking at ways to improve their internal process and strive to consistently utilise new technology to create efficiencies across their operations. With an experienced senior management team in place, they have created a motivated, driven, high performance environment which is extremely rewarding to experience.
This role is responsible for the P2P process, systems and controls across the team. Key duties include:
- Manage a team of 4 Mid level AP Officers
- Oversee the day to day transactions of the AP function
- Approve all invoices for the team
- Finalize and authorize payment runs
- Ensure that all vendor accounts are reconciled for statement purposes
- Clear all debit balances to ensure that all reporting is up to date and accurate
- Manage the Amex expenses and report on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist with month end closing and reporting
- Assist with process improvements, system changes and upgrades
- Ensure mentoring and development is at the forefront of team training
You will need to have experience within a P2P function and a proven background managing change and delivery efficient processes. Experience in managing a small team will be key. A background in large complex businesses which operate under a matrix structure, excellent stakeholder and team management abilities and a strategic approach to your work will all be essential.
