A boutique tax consultancy in the city fringe has a full time position available for a Tax & Business Services Accountant. Minimum 3 years public practice experience is essential. Contractors and Registered Tax Agents are welcome to apply
As professional accountants and registered tax agents we provide taxation, accounting, advisory, and consultancy services to a demanding & highly serviced client base encompassing a broad range of entity types including individuals, corporations, trusts & super funds.
The focus of this position is to manage your allocated portfolio of Clients independently including, compliance management, workflow, production, budgeting & billing. You will produce high quality work that is founded on your strong technical knowledge and appropriate research where required.
We are looking for a person who is highly proficient in taxation and financial accounting. You will be focused and commercially driven. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to build on your existing technical & managerial skills.
An initial contract period will be offered to the successful applicant with a view to this developing to a permanent position.
Essential Criteria
- Degree qualified (CA/CPA studying welcome)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Public Practice
- Solid Communication Skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong technical knowledge in tax & accounting
- Proficient experience with MYOB Accountants Office & MS Excel
