Our client is looking for Finance Analyst to partner across the business units. This is an integral and newly created role that has come about help support the business’ strategic initiatives.
Description
The Finance Analyst provides management reporting and accounting support to the business, the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing the month end processes
- Preparation and detailed analysis of weekly and monthly results
- Develop and maintain constructive and trusted relationships with key stakeholders within the Finance and across the business
- Contribute to the strategic support the Finance Team is providing for the business
- Analyse forecast information in line with business requirements
- Contribute to the development of planning schedules for units across the business and perform analysis post-project
- Review significant engagements for profitability, revenue recognition and cash flow management
- Assist management to deliver business needs and the National Finance Strategy
Profile
About You:
- You will be tertiary qualified and be in the process or have completed a CA/CPA qualification.
- Solid accounting knowledge and previous experience in financial/ management accounting roles
- High level of attention to detail, planning and prioritising skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop genuine business partner relationships with stakeholders
- Strong drive for continuous growth and development
- Prior experience working in a large, busy and complex environment would be advantageous
