I am working with an ASX listed property management company in the CBD who are looking for a Portfolio Accountant to join them on a 3-month contract. There are opportunities for this contract to be extended or go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure rent rolls are finalised and tenant statements are issued on time.
• Assist in allocation of EFT rental payments from tenants
• Process client remittances, processing journal entries
• Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recovery
• Raise monthly management commissions, reconcile GST reports
• Ensure completion of month end financial reporting
• Contact client accounting staff on month end reporting

Key Requirements:

• MRI or MYOB experience is essential for this role
• Previous experience in property
• Good communication skills
