Accounts Coordinator for a 3-month contract with opportunity for extension within a state government organisation.
Your new company
A state government organisation based in Melbourne’s CBD.
Your new role
Working within the finance team, you will be responsible for:
- managing and coordinating accounts payable and receivable
- monitoring project cash flow
- preparation of monthly forecast
- assisting with preparation of monthly, quarterly and end-of-year financial and performance reports
- liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- ensuring financial records are compliant with statutory requirements
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this attractive role, you will ideally have:
- a working knowledge of Oracle including General Ledger and Project Accounting administration
- demonstrated experience working in AP function, with an understanding of Victorian Government policies and procedures
- proficiency in Excel
- demonstrated experience leading a small accounting team
- proven ability to produce concise and accurate financial reports
- an appropriate tertiary qualification
