Your new company
Our client is a global leader within the manufacturing industry and operates over Europe, North America and Australia. Based in St Leonards, the offices are close to public transportation and have a social, friendly feel. Having recently decided to bring in their outsourced payroll function, our client is now looking for someone on a permanent, part-time basis to implement the new system and manage the payroll function for their 100 employees.
Your new role
This newly created position sits between finance and HR, the responsibilities include:
- On-boarding new starters
- End to end payroll for 100 staff
- Processing superannuation
- Understanding legislation and tax across Australian states
- Managing manual time sheet processing
- Understanding awards
- Handling queries
- Ad hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed
As our client is bringing payroll in house, it is important that you have experience in implementing new systems or assisting with the process. You will be outgoing, hands on and happy to get involved with all aspects of the business. Additionally, you will:
- Have end to end local payroll experience
- Understanding of EBAs / Awards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be an Australian citizen or posses Permanent Residency
