We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic team player, with a positive "can-do" attitude to join our Finance and Administration Department as an Inventory Controller.
Reporting to the CFO, the Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the groups ERP systems across multiple business units, as well as controlling the integrity of the inventory management process. This role is focused on continuous process improvement and is expected to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all inventory related issues;
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of the inventory levels;
- Maintain and ensure ERP systems and Material Control (MC) systems are operational
- Prepare costs reports as required;
- Initiate and control stocktakes process and ensure the integrity of the outcome;
- Ensure month-end requirements are met in a timely manner;
- Monitor, analyse and control stock movements
- Provide regular communications and updates of any inventory issues to the CFO
- Maintain cooperative and communicative relationship with internal stakeholders especially the branch administrators;
- Assist in staff training with a specific focus in the operation of the ERP system;
- Develop and maintain relevant ERP operation manuals.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential criteria:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role;
- Previous accounting experience;
- Mid to advance level of Microsoft Excel;
- Experience in manufacturing environment;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in timber industry highly regarded
