The Company:

The Position:
This role reports to the Financial Controller and you will work alongside a close-knit and stable accounting team. In this autonomous role your duties will include however not be limited to;
- Coordination and review of specific financial information to ensure compliance with Company reporting schedules and standards.
- Assist with the production of daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial information.
- Ensuring various company polices are adhered to (A/P; A/R, Bank; Stock Control).
- Credit control functions following Group Credit policy and compliance requirements.
- Support and assist Senior Credit Controller with day-to-day responsibilities.
- Reconciliation of debtors accounts to ensure weekly statements sent are correct.
- Process all customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
The Candidate:
- Ability to start at 6:30 a.m. Monday to Friday.
- Excellent communication skills to follow up slow paying customers
- Relevant tertiary study in Accounting/Commerce.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy
- Meet the workload requirements of the role
- Ability to problem solve and show initiative
- Ability to work as a team player as well as autonomously
- Ability to communicate well at all levels from consumers, members, suppliers to management and staff
- Willingness to learn and take up new challenges
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
