Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner and partnering with the Sales team, this Commercial Accountant will be instrumental in being a key finance contact for Key Accounts. More specifically you will be involved in ensuring promotions are approved and tracking the accruals associated. Additionally, you will enforce procedure upon all promotional activity and in line with business compliance. You will provide visibility to the greater finance teams through your attention to detail when matching invoices. High performing candidates that go above and beyond will be given the opportunity to take the next step into a true commercial business partnering role.

Responsibilities
• Ensure promotions are approved and track the accruals associated
• Educate sales on business procedure and ensure promotional activity is compliant
• Track invoices and match to the relevant promotional activity
• Maintain CRM accuracy and data entry
• Manage invalid invoices and overpayments with relevant stakeholders
• Ensure procedures are held in high regard and followed
Candidate Profile
You possess a Business or Commerce degree and you may be CA or CPA part qualified or may have plans to start soon. You will have some experience within a large corporate or you may be a first time mover from a chartered firm such as the Big 4 or mid-tier with exposure to large clients. You will have a solid understanding of technical accounting skill. You are a team player with a strong career focus which sets you apart from others. As such your high motivation and willingness to succeed has already landed you at the top of your field. Excellent written and communication skills are a must.
