Our client is an independent Australian property advisory, offering exceptional level of knowledge and superior calibre of service.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for a number of key duties within the business including:

• Trust accounting administration - both rental trust and sales trust
• Assist the property management department with daily property management accounting functions
• General accounting including payroll, BAS Statements, administration of payments and receipts.
• Daily receipting, processing of invoices and Disbursements
• Accurate accounting for all portfolio transactions
• Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations for the trusts
• End of month and year end roll overs
• Maintaining records to adhere to legislative requirements and follow company procedures
• Ensure stakeholder requests are met in a timely and professional manner - including banks, trustees and third parties

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 5 year's experience as a Trust Accountant within property / real estate- handling Sales and Rentals
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation across AU
• Excellent communication and personal presentation
• Strong excel and MS Office proficiency
• Please note candidates who do not have Australian experience within real estate / property will NOT be considered
