This boutique practice strives to set themselves apart from standard accounting firms providing an impeccable service to clients and ample opportunities for their staff. The office consists of separate compliance and consulting teams providing accounting services to a portfolio of – family groups, SMEs, HNWIs and larger corporates including a bunch of companies in the BRW fast starters up to $100m in turnover. They also have a work hard yet relaxed environment with all staff given client contact early on and autonomy in their role.
As a Supervisor in the team you will be working very closely with the director being the main point of contact for a lot of key clients along with being responsible for providing compliance and advisory services to the firms key portfolio. There is also the exposure to work on Corporate Finance, M&A, financial modelling & valuations areas. Additionally you will play a big part in the facilitating the firms excellent IT software and maintaining/creating strong client relationships.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax return across all entities
- Research and drafting advice on tax issues
- Tax planning and assisting cash flow forecasts
- Evaluation of Div7A issues and preparation of loan repayments
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Managing and maintaining important client relationships
About you:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- 5+ years business services exp. in a local firm
- Experience in dealing with a variety of clients including SMEs & HNWIs
- A1 communication skills due to high client facing nature
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workflow
- Experience with mentoring junior staff
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
