Client Details

My client is a Australian leading Health Care company who is currently in strong demand. Due to extensive operational growth and expansion within there team, they are currently looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Assistant Accountant. This role will eventually progress into the potential of a more senior position within the company.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller the key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain, analyse and investigate general ledger reconciliations for reporting purposes.
  • Communicate with inter-company partners to ensure financial transactions are appropriately recorded as necessary.
  • Complete balance sheet account reconciliations including bank reconciliations, fixed assets and prepayments.
  • Facilitate inter-company transactions including cross charge of expenses and monthly payment of accounts and ensure accurate reconciliation of payables and receivables on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules, including deferred revenue reporting, inter-company price/purchase reconciliation, and Foreign Exchange variance analysis.
  • Process financial transactions to ensure accurate recognition of leasing and deferred revenue arrangements.

Profile

The successful candidate will be part CPA or CA qualified and have the following requirements:

  • Graduates with a few years experience in the commercial environment encouraged to join
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed problem solving and analytical skills
