SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

A boutique practice in Inner East of Melbourne is looking for a Senior Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience in public practice (This must be a criteria).

About the role

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Statements for Trusts, Companies, SMSF, Partnerships and Sole Traders using MYOB ledger;
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Trusts, Companies, SMSF, Partnerships and Sole Traders & Individuals using MYOB AO Tax;
• Spreadsheets compilations;
• Third parties liaisons;
• ATO liaisons;
• Reporting directly to the Principal;

Skills and experience

Key Competency:

• Accounting Qualification with intention to complete the CPA or CA  Program in long term;
• Must have experience in  public practice;
• Attention to details and multi- tasking are essential;
• Experience in MYOB AO Tax package and Ledger are essential but not necessary;
• Some exposure to SMSF is highly regarded;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Asian language is of advantage but not necessary.
