Provides financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing internal and external reports.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end processes including journal entries, reports, balance sheets, P&L statements, analysis reports and commentary
• Perform bank and GL reconciliations
• Send invoices and collect payments
• Budget preparation and cash flow forecasting
• BAS, PAYG Tax and Withholding Tax for group companies
• Investment accounting for managed investment schemes (Managed Funds)
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting
• Experience working with Xero
• Experience with taxation highly regarded
• High ethical standards, professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Teamwork
• Strong time management and be able to manage multiple deadlines
• Has or working towards CPA/CA qualification
