A fast growing private property group is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team.

Responsibilities
You will see your responsibilities grow from AP to include Assistant Accountant duties, and you will be actively encouraged to progress and learn more. 
AP duties 

• Management of the end to end Accounts Payable function for the the investment property portfolio to ensure timely and accurate processing; 
• Reconciling general ledger accounts & suppliers accounts;
• Prepare weekly payment schedule forecasting;
• Identify continuous process improvement within Accounts Payable;
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement of systems to ensure efficient workflow and delivery;

Assistant Accountant exposure 

• Property Accounting duties; 
• Reconciling bank deposits;
• Weekly reporting of credit card balances and transactions;
• Assisting with monthly preparation of Group BAS statements; and,
• Other ad hoc duties as delegated. 

Person 
You will have at least  1-2 years experience in a full function Accounts Payable role ideally within the property industry.  

Any background in Nexus Accounts Payable and/or MRI would be handy as well.
