A newly created role has become available within Downer's national head office, this is a unique opportunity to join an industry leader and take on a Senior Internal Auditor role. You will represent the Audit team across all our divisions. The successful candidate will provide independent and objective assurance advice as well as insights on risk.
You will form part of the Group Risk and Assurance team to objectively assess and review business processes, ensuring they’re established and operate effectively. This role would ideally be suited to candidates with 3-5 years exposure in similar positions within, Engineering, Construction, Heavy Industrial environments or Big 4 exposure.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualified (business/engineering)
- CA/CPA/CIA qualified preferred
- Desired 3-5 years’ experience gained in internal audit
- Experience in engineering, construction, mining, rail and services will be highly regarded
- Understanding of audit methodologies and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment
- Time management / organisational skills
