OnTalent is proud to partner with Ipswich Grammar School in managing the recruitment for a position on their executive leadership team as Business Manager. This role reports to the Board and the Headmaster/CEO and also performs the duties of Secretary to the Board.
The Business Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and sustainability of the strategic finance and administrative programmes of the school through the leadership of the Finance and Administration team, as well as, relationships with the wider community. The broad portfolio includes Finance, IT, Marketing, Compliance and Legal, Facilities and Administration.
Experience in the private education sector is not essential, however you will have demonstrated experience in an executive corporate services and finance management role and a proven ability to contribute effectively to the strategic direction of a large, diverse organisation. High level interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams at both strategic and operational levels are essential. The ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is crucial. Tertiary Qualifications including either CA or CPA are a requirement of the position.
