Our client is a leader in providing professional audit, accounting and advisory services in the picturesque high country of the New England Region of NSW.
It’s Chartered and ranked in BRW’s Top 100 accounting firms. It’s a dynamic practice encompassing 125 staff and 15 partners providing clients with a range and complexity of services.
The partners are looking to invest in the future development of the practice with the recruitment of a talented individual who is like minded and will join the leadership team in the mediuimt term as Partner.
The successful candidate will be welcomed as part of the senior team. You will manage your clients and staff in an autonomous manner, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and provide “best practice” solutions.
The role will cover include:
- Manage and review the audit processes for clients
- Preparation of annual financial accounts
- Prepare the structure of the audit files and reviews.
- Lead the presentation of findings and discuss issues with clients.
- Manage the audit responsibilities for a large number of SMSF.
- Ad hoc special project work
- Direction and supervise staff members
The successful candidate will be:
- CA or CPA qualified
- 5+ years local working experience
- Ideally from a medium sized practice background to mid tier or even Big 4
- Registered Company Auditor with external audit background
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
