Based in Collingwood, we are a rapidly growing firm which specialises in the creative industries.
• Perfect for someone looking to return to the workforce
• 4-5 days per week, flexible hours (25-30 hours) possible for the right candidate
• July start date
• 70,000-75,000K per annum including super (negotiable) pro-rated
Working alongside the Principal you will:
• prepare and analyse financial statements
• prepare income tax returns from client interviews and correspondence
• review notices of assessment and other ATO correspondence
• liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
• help build strong client relationships with the growing client base
• develop and maintan relationships with clients
The successful candidate will have:
• tertiary qualifications in accountancy
• CA/IPA qualification or similar
• knowledge of Australian income tax law
• minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a small/medium size accountancy firm (Australian public practice) is essential, as well as sound knowledge in MYOB tax, Accountants Office, XERO, Microsoft Excel and Word
• strong analytical skills
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• self starter with initiative keen to grow in a niche industry
To be successful in the role you will be deadline driven and be able to work without supervision.
