We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our tight knit, successful team of services professionals who don't talk about being the best - who simply are the best in our niche industry. You can grow with us or using your expertise show us the way to grow.

Ideally you would have a degree in business administration, or equivalent business experience working with contractors - minimum 3-5 years - coupled with a well developed, up to date knowledge of accounts payable and receivable. Proficiency in Xero and it's application in databases would clearly be advantageous.

Crucial to our operations are also confidentiality, time management, accuracy, thoroughness and problem solving.

In this role you would need to feel comfortable to mostly work independently using your knowledge and problem solving skills.

The key responsibilities in this role are:

• accurate keying in/finalising large volume of contractors' claim forms; 
• preparation and payment of contractors' fees;
• preparation of Customers' invoices as per individual requirements;
• following up on overdue accounts;
• preparation of customers' statistics and reports from the database as required;
• answering phone accounts enquiries;
• dealing with contractors' pay queries;
• sorting, scanning and archiving claim forms;

This is a full time ongoing position Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm available immediately, however, 3 months probationary period applies. Onsite carpark is provided.

You must hold current (no older than 3 years) National Police Clearance and/or DCSI Child Related record clearance and have the right to work in Australia.

We are based in the eastern suburb outside the city.
