What’s involved?

The role of Finance Officer has been created to ensure the ongoing financial hygiene of the firm during our extended period of growth. The ongoing success of the business requires our Finance Officer to:

  • Monitor and project cash flows
  • Ensure the trust account is correctly administered
  • Report on and adhere to operational budgets
  • Ensuring a high quality of financial information is available to the Directors

Your role will involve: 

  • Trust account management and reconciliation
  • Bookkeeping and management of the general ledger
  • Invoicing
  • Debtor management
  • Accounts payable management
  • Credit card reconciliation and management
  • Reviewing and contributing to firm policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the Financial Management of the firm, including overseeing cash flow management and assisting our external accountant with month end reporting

What have you got?

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Sound knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting
  • Specific experience in trust account management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all employee levels
  • Self-motivation, drive and autonomy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
