The Opportunity
Be part of an exciting new team that will head up the pricing function for the organisation. This new and evolving area of the business will give you the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders. Your ability to analyse and decipher large volumes of data to ensure well informed pricing decision will make you the ideal candidate for this role. You will work closely with the Pricing Manager to prepare and review pricing proposals for tenders and individual sales negotiations
Other duties include:
- Develop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models
- Detailed scenario modelling to highlight outcomes of different pricing approaches
- Monitor market developments that may impact pricing - government bodies, industry sources
- Build and maintain excel dashboard reporting to understand the movement in margins across the various divisions, customers and products
- Other ad hoc analysis to support pricing decision making
The Successful Applicant
- Must have a tertiary qualification in finance or mathematics
- Excel guru with the ability to build various financial models
- Preference will be given to candidates who comes from a FMCG/Pharmaceutical environment with a proven track record of working with large amounts of data
- Out of the box thinkers with a strong personality and the ability to engage with stakeholders on different levels
