The Company

Our client is a leading, multi-national IT solutions and services company with a strong presence in the Australian market. Recently acquired by huge global corporate, they are investing heavily in expansion throughout the APAC region, leveraging off new business opportunities locally.

The Role

The purpose of the role is to take full ownership of the Finance function for the Australian & NZ business, and to work with the management team to provide business partnership, financial information and commercial support.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the production of all financial results for the relevant business areas, including P+L, cashflow and balance sheet.
• Partner with Business leads to drive down costs and increase efficiency.
• Support the preparation of 3 year business plan and annual budget for business areas, including detailed strategic and financial analysis.
• Produce financial reporting, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to, including commentary on major variances and trends
• Support the Finance Director in ensuring best practice financial processes and procedures are in place.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

The Successful Applicant.

To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills and attributes:

• CA/CPA qualified, with at least 3+ years post qualification commercial exp.
• Working technical knowledge of reporting standards and excellent management accounting techniques.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and present to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexibility to work within a rapidly changing environment.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, however, a temp to perm opportunity will be available to a high performer.
