Financial Accountant- Global Technology Firm

Role and Company

Hudson are currently working with a reputable and rapidly expanding global technology company looking to expand their finance team here in Sydney. As part of their new growth plan, they're looking to bring on board a tech savvy, innovative and strategic thinking financial accountant. You will be CA/CPA qualified (or near qualified) and looking to join a business where you can create and be there for long-term growth and development.

Role Duties and Responsibilities:

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Preparing regular Financial and statistical reports for various operating divisions.
• Month-end reconciliation of key accounts
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Assist with the preparation of management reports, statutory reports and budget
• Ad hoc project work

About You:

• CA qualified accountant or close to finishing qualification
• Experience with AASB / IFRS accounting and reporting
• Xero experience a plus
• Forensic attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Highly organised and self-motivated
• Proactive attitude - ability to take initiative to get things done
• Strong Excel and IT skills
