About the business
Our client is a Transport & Logistics Business with offices across Australia. Their Western Sydney operations are looking for an Accounts Officer to join their Finance & Controlling team. Candidates must have Industry experience to apply for this role - applicants without this experience will not be considered.
About the role
The Accounts Officer's responsibilities include:
- Provide day to day finance and admin support, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Data entry, supplier payments, AP invoices, receipts, debt collection, bank statement and inter-company reconciliations
- Maintain financial data and records in ERP/Accounting System
- Managing cashflow and inter-company funds transfers

Skills and experience
- Demonstrated major ERP, like F2020 knowledge and experience
- Min. 3 years experience in Accounting, preferably within a Transport & Logistics environment
- Accounting qualifications/degree/diploma (preferred) or a relevant level of work experience
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, management, customers and vendors to clarify, negotiate and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Experience working with Accounting Systems such as MS Dynamics or SAP
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and Word in particular)
- High proficiency and accuracy in data entry
