We are a family run business within the hospitality hotel industry. The group is in expansion mode and requires a bookkeeper/assistant accountant who will grow with the business.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated bookkeeper/assistant accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude and have high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·         Preparation of an accurate monthly Profit & Loss in a timely manner

·         Preparation of month end accrual and prepayment journals

·         Full creditors and debtors process

·         Bank reconciliations

·         Review of payroll on a weekly basis

·         Producing weekly reports to stakeholders

·         Quarterly BAS preparation

·         Data Entry of invoices and uploading daily sales figures

Key Attributes you will possess:

·         3 years bookkeeping experience within the hospitality industry would be highly regarded

·         Previous experience with SAP is preferable (but not essential)

·         Highly organized and ability to meet deadlines

·         Ability to work independently while still having the support of a team environment

·         Intermediate Word and Excel knowledge
