As a result, a newly created opportunity for an innovative and dynamic Commercial Analyst has been created to provide significant impact across the organisation by providing vital financial insights and contributions to commercial operations primarily within Supply Chain and Logistics.
The Job
Reporting to the Commercial Manager. this Commercial Analyst will be instrumental is providing commercial information to the business on operational performance and cost management around Supply Chain and Logistics. Your role will encompass commercially reviewing operational inefficiencies and making suggestions for CAPEX investments. Your proposal will also include modelling and business case reviews on investment returns relating to CAPEX investments. This Commercial Analyst will also support operations and logistics with financial modelling and business performance analysis focusing on the development of tools to transform reports into useful business insights which will add value to commercial operations.
The successful Commercial Analyst will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, month end reporting and financial analysis. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the analysis of business operations to identify trends found in such reports and indentify process improvement opportunities.
The successful Commercial Analyst will also spend considerable time visiting the sites and design tools, dashboards, and key performance monitoring systems to assist Regional and Service Centre Managers in ensuring the smooth running of processes and tracking of costs.
Candidate Profile
You are currently CA or CPA qualified Management Accountant or Commercial Analyst and hold extensive experience across Logistics and Operations ideally from an FMCG enviornment. You will have comprehensive experience in SAP with advanced level Excel skills. In addition you will also ideally have experience within TM1. You possess initiative and have the ability to communicate and influence across different business areas and functions. You posses strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
