The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a qualified Treasury Accountant to join a reputable organisation with immediate effect on a temporary basis for 2-3 months. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a well-respected organisation who can thrive in a busy and challenging environment. The role is based in a great location in the Inner Western Suburbs. The role is temporary but there may be a view to permanency for the right candidate.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager this role requires someone with a strong Treasury Accounting background. The duties will involve:
- Monthly Treasury Reporting
- Reconciliation of treasury accounts
- Interest redemption payments
- Liasing with Treasury Victoria daily
- Assiting with a banking retendering project
- Forecasting and refinancing preparation
- Being a major point of contact for all Treasury Accounts related queries
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in banking retendering projects and a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience. Experience working within Government departments will be highly regarded. The client is looking for a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and reporting skills. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills and thrive in a challenging environment.
Strong Excel skills are a must. Experience using Oracle or ERP based systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.
