We currently have an exciting opening for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a highly regarded healthcare organisation on a temporary basis. Client Details
Our client is one that offers a wide range of healthcare services to Australians of all different ages and backgrounds. Due to the expected growth that they are planning for, it is an optimal time for our client to grow and expand their Accounts team. This position is one that will have you working as an Accounts Receivable Officer at their Melbourne CBD facility, where the work-place is easily accessible via trains and trams.
Description
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, your role will include but will not be limited to:
- Raising invoices, receipting and allocations
- Reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts
- Collections of outstanding debts from clients
- Producing and assisting in month-end reporting
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Handling new customer accounts
- Additional ad-hoc duties as required
Profile
The successful applicant would ideally have previous experience in a full function Accounts Receivable position and be able to manage a general ledger of over 500 active clients. You will need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Acting professionally and being able to deal with potentially difficult situations over the phone is also mandatory in this position. Proven ability to work effectively in a team based environment is also vital. Experience using a variety of accounting systems would be viewed favourably.
