Specializing in property development, subdivision and earth moving work, this civil contracting organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller from the construction industry to be part of the leadership team.
The aim of the role is of dual responsibility where, you will have an opportunity to maintain your finance expertise with your hands – on approach whilst, providing advice to the leadership team underpinning the pivotal financial responsibilities and overall business objectives.
The Role ..
Reporting to the Directors, you will offer strategic input and your key responsibilities which will include but are not limited to:
- Manage all accounting and financial operations, management reporting and analysis
- Ownership of the annual accounting process, budgeting, forecasting and taxation
- Enhancing internal controls, procedures and systems
- Job costing management and development thereof
- Lead, motivate and manage finance team
- Ability to be hands on where needed and provide a strategic, logical and proactive direction

To be successful within this role, you will have in excess of six (6) years local experience leading a finance team, be CA / CPA qualified, possess exceptional communication (written and verbal) flair, have an unwavering employment background and be commercially minded with first class Excel knowledge. Ideally, this will be coupled with experience within the construction industry.
