This leading financial services group finds itself extremely well positioned in the current climate and is currently looking to appoint an energetic and high performing Financial Accounting professional for a 15-18 month contract with a strong possibility of extension/ permanency.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Financial Reporting & Control, you will be responsible for;

• Preparing and providing timely and accurate financial information across a range of entities in the group.
• Other aspects of the role include contributing to a strong financial control environment, team engagement, managing internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic support to the business in financial, capital and regulatory management issues. 
• Stakeholders include, but are not limited to Business Unit Finance teams, Group Governance, and the Group's Auditors.

What will help you succeed;

• Tertiary qualification in accounting
• CA / CPA qualified with post CA / CPA experience
• In-depth knowledge of the financial reporting framework and strong technical skills (IFRS)
• Experience in a financial control / reporting role in the Banking or Financial Services sector and/or Big 4 (Financial Services)
• Ability to analyse and solve problems.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
