Our Client:
Our client is one of Australia’s most iconic fuel network/convenience retailers. They are currently seeking a B2B Pricing Operations Officer to join their team in an initial 6 month contract which will extend to 14 months. 


Position Purpose:
The key focus of the role is to reliably, accurately, and efficiently execute on the daily B2B (including SME) pricing operational activities, and ensure compliance within the B2B Pricing operational environment. The position also supports the business in relation to daily price advices, address pricing enquiries and provide general pricing operational support.


Job Accountabilities: 
Pricing Fundamentals:

• Resolution of delegated sales and customer price enquiries
• Source Transfer Price and cost fundamentals for daily price build-up
• Derive and execute in billing systems the daily/weekly/monthly TGP, CRP, MOPS prices
• Load new government excise to pricing models and systems (e.g. SAP)

 
Customer Specific Pricing:

• Generate daily/weekly/monthly Price Advices
• Manage customer pricing and WOW MFN
• Fixed pricing administration for fixed price customers
• Contract price adjustments

 
Market Intelligence:

• Source, maintain, and update market Intel Registers

 
Pricing Compliance:

• Contracts data extraction and administration
• Maintenance of existing Pricing systems
• KPIs / Performance tracking
• Document Operations procedures
• Register and investigate pricing errors – LPS, Pricing Error Log

Successful Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 2 years pricing/commercial experience in a similar operational role
• Experience in dealing with complex dataset

 
Skills:

• Ability to work consistently and accurately under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to operate within a complex and dynamic business environment
• Strong MS Excel skills

 
Knowledge:

• Good understanding of various systems – e.g. SAP (required), Navision/IFCS (desirable)
• Requirement to be Competition and Compliance Act (CCA) compliant, and have practical understanding of CCA
