About the Opportunity
We currently have a new position available in Sydney for a manager level Forensic Accountant.
As part of our Health Services Team, this is an exceptional opportunity to join us in a position that will work across the entire enterprise.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing support to Sales, Underwriting and Claims staff where applications or claims have been referred for financial review
- Answer questions and participate in discussions with Underwriting and Claims staff surrounding general financial scenarios
- Communication with Advisors and Customer Accountants in relation to financial information for applications and claims
- Delivery of training to Case Managers and Underwriters on the use of financial calculators and tools
- Provide input into Policy definitions
- Identifying opportunities to improve quality and compliance measures and identify risk
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Qualification.
- Forensic accounting background
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and attention to detail skills
- Initiative and drive, and who work well both individually and in a team environment
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to navigate financial systems, including advanced excel skills.
