Clime Asset Management is one of Australia's most respected boutique funds management businesses. Parent entity Clime Investment Management Limited is listed on the ASX. (Ticker:CIW).

Clime is embarking on a growth phase to evolve its services to both existing and prospective clients by moving into Private Wealth Advisory. We are currently looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant with 2 to 3 years post qualification experience to join us in this journey and contribute positively to the success of the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Timely and accurate preparation of half yearly and full year statutory financial reports;
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Management accounts;
• Strong understanding of rolling forecasts and budgeting processes;
• Completing month-end tasks including reconciliations, journals and accruals;
• Review and report individual business unit performance;
• Managing external audit process of the group;
• Handling all tax compliance of the Group (Company Tax Returns, BAS, Payroll tax, FBT);
• Assisting the Group Finance Manager with ASX/ASIC reporting;
• Assisting in the Group's Compliance Functions ensuring compliance with the financial services license and legislations;
• Managing ad-hoc projects; and
• Managing and mentoring two accountants.

Skills and Experience include:

• CA qualified;
• minimum 2 to 3 years post qualification experience;
• External audit experience, ideally from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm;
• Rigorous attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
• Excellent team player;
• Ability to manage competing priorities; and 
• Ability to work towards and meet critical deadlines.
