Description
Reporting into the CFO, this role will be across performance reporting, business partnering, driving value add business insights and a variety of ad-hoc business projects. Working as a senior leader to support operational and commercial decision making, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading planning and performance processes, budgeting and forecasting, and the identification of business performance gaps creating mitigation recommendations
- Decision Support & Investment Management
- Commercial Finance leadership including business partnering with key business functions including leasing, property, logistics and IT
- Cost management focused around efficient operations and supporting other departments around driving efficiency
- Working capital management
- Treasury management including debt facilities, hedging, and cash flow management
- Scenario analysis around cost of doing business
- Ownership of business performance and the delivery of the financial plan
- Deep dive reporting and development of new tools to provide insights and trends
Profile
To be successful in this role you will be CA or CPA qualified with experience in a large complex organisation, preferably in the FMCG and/or Retail environment. You will have a strong track record across supporting corporate functions through strategic decision making and have exposure to FP&A or Management reporting in a previous leadership role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be paramount for your success, as will your ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work to tight deadlines. Those with exposure to larger ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite or Great Plains will be highly regarded. Additionally, if you have exposure to treasury and multiple currencies this will also be favorable.
