The Role
The Bank Reconciliation Officer is responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate reconciliation of the bank accounts on a daily basis. This role is part time for a fixed term supporting the smoothing running of the finance team. The Fixed Term Contract Position ends Feb 2019.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank Reconciliations – investigation, identifying errors, corrections and suggest solutions on a daily basis
- Month End – support the end of month function
- Preparation of assigned bank account reconciliations for the business
- Identify, co-ordinate and participate in providing feedback for continuous improvement for current processes
- Other administration duties as required
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Completion of Secondary education
- Ideally completed a business-related discipline
- Experience with high volume bank reconciliations is preferable
- Analytical ability and high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work diligently and accurately under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and able to meet daily deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of integrated EPR system, Pronto would be advantageous
