The company: A rare opportunity has arisen to join an ASX listed Australian success story with a trading history stretching back over 100 years. They are part of a booming industry sector that manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to clients ranging from Rio Tinto to self-employed carpenters and are currently experiencing a wave of strong growth. 

The role: You will join a very stable and typically long-serving team and take on your own ledger of up to 1,000 active accounts. Day to day duties will include the following:

• Collections calls to debtors 30 - 90 days overdue 
• Credit checking new accounts with Veda/ DnB
• Set up new accounts and liaise with sales reps during process
• Accurately allocate and bank incoming payments on a daily basis 
• Reconcile debtor accounts on weekly/ monthly basis
• Resolve customers account queries to maximise payments
• Offer cash flow forecasts on a weekly basis 

Please note this is a fast-paced and busy environment, which require high levels of organisation and time management skills. Lots of training and support are on offer as long as you have the self-motivation and work ethic to succeed in a busy team based environment. 

The candidate: We are looking for an experienced full function Credit Controller with the following skills & experience:

• 3 years full function Credit Control experience 
• Exceptional customer service & negotiation skills
• Large ERP system experience 
• Experience working in a manufacturing based business is beneficial
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, V Lookups)
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
• Previous experience in influencing sales force when discussing credit limits
