Meditech Staffing is a Sydney based agency providing specialised staffing support across the Aged Care and Disability Support network. Based in Strathfield, we have a proven track record and continue to be recognised as the ideal staffing choice for the leading service providers within Sydney.

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior Accounts Officer who can support a dynamic and growing team. You will support key functions of the accounts and payroll process, provide general support to the accounts team.

 

Reporting to the Accounts Coordinator, the duties will include:

  • Assists with the coordination of the accounts receivable and payroll administrative support function
  • Accurate entry of invoice and account data into Procura/ MYOB
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing records of all invoices processed
  • Run fortnightly and monthly reports on outstanding accounts
  • Send invoices within agreed billing timeframes
  • Assist with processing direct debit and credit card arrangements for residents
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing of all documentation related to accounts receivable 
  • Manage/ submit claims and other government funding arrangements
  • Issue fortnightly/ monthly customer statements
  • Respond and manage emails/ queries sent to the Accounts email
  • Timesheet checks
  • Other ad-hoc Accounts duties

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Qualification in Accounting or any other related field
  • Demonstrated administrative experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal and arithmetic skills
  • Excellent time management and work organisational skills
  • Computer literacy and experience using Accounting software (MYOB)
  • Experience in the Health, Aged Care or Community Services Sectors (Desired)
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
