Our client is a well-respected best in class' mid-tier national accounting firm with over 30 years' experience nationally, who specialise within the insolvency area. In WA, they are experts in corporate insolvency and work across a varied client base dealing with a large amount of debtor based matters relating to both small business and large organisations.

The Exciting Opportunity:

An exciting newly created opportunity for an Insolvency SENIOR MANAGER or ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR has become available to join a leading National Practice in their area of expertise. Our client is experiencing rapid growth and are now looking to expand their WA Practice by introducing a talented, dynamic and passionate Insolvency Senior Manager or Associate Director who can take responsibility and ownership for leading a small team of insolvency professionals where you and your team will be responsible for processing and managing clients files relating to primarily debtor based insolvency matters in line with strict industry compliance and best practice.

The Partner is responsible for all marketing, so your essential role as leader in this business is to mentor the team to ensure all insolvency matters are handled with the highest technical competency and in a timely manner.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring you and your team manage and deal with all client insolvency matters
• Manage a team of 4-5 insolvency professionals and mentor them technically and professionally
• Take a hands on' approach and manage your own files
• Be viewed as a technical insolvency expert both internally and with clients
• Dealing with debtor based insolvency work with some administrations and receiverships - referrals received from Legal and Accounting Practices
• Manage internal stakeholders and follow up outstanding information on client files
• Comply with Bankruptcy Act and follow all department policies and procedures
• Processing insolvency administration in line with all statutory compliance & legislation guidelines
• Working on IA's which you will be running
• Investigation and reporting
• Technical report writing on a range of matters

Qualities and Experience Required:

• Minimum 5++ years Insolvency experience
• Must have leadership and people management experience within insolvency
• A proven track record of leading a team to success
• High level of technical competency within insolvency - CA & ARITA essential
• A sound understanding around the importance of compliance guidelines
• Effectively manage a steady and high volume workload with 100% accuracy
• Exceptional written communication and report writing ability
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of computer literacy
• Self-motivated and focused individual
• Career focused and driven
• IA and strong technical report writing experience
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
