The Company

My client is a small technology company, focusing on a niche area in the financial services industry. While they have been around for less than 10 years, they continually are gaining an impressive amount of market share. They have newly renovated offices, complete with an Espresso machine, sit/stand desks, and table tennis!

The Role

This is primarily a financial accounting role, but because of it is a small and changing company, your role will vary greatly and grow with the company. You will be involved with various processes and projects around internal controls. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Monthly financial reporting as well as constantly looking to improve and automate
• Liaising with business units around expenses/revenue and long-term plans
• Preparing journals and all related analysis
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Leading integration of various systems
• Creating automated reports
• Any ad hoc duties, as requested

Your Profile

You will be driven and commercially minded with experience in Financial Accounting. You will have:

• A go-get attitude, happy to tackle new challenges every day
• Ability to communicate with non-financial staff
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ambitious and highly motivated
