Join this fast growing public practice in the CBD, we have experienced unexpected growth and a new role has evolved. We are seeking a Senior Business Services Accountant / Supervisor to join our team.
We are seeking a self motivated Senior Business Services Accountant/ Supervisor who is seeking a well rounded role in a public practice.
The successful candidate will work on a range of SME’s clients as well as high net wealth individuals. You will be involved with tasks from start to finish and also be involved in supervising and reviewing jobs completed by junior staff. You will be working in a team environment with contact to the Partners and Managers.
Job Specification:
- Preparation of individual, partnership, company, trust and self managed superannuation funds tax returns and financial statements.
- Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax Returns;
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory agencies on behalf of clients;
- Liaise with clients regarding tax matters. You must understand tax issues and have excellent communication skills;
- Experience with Handisoft, Xero and BGL360 is advantageous.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years + experience as a Business Services Accountant;
- Be studying towards/completed CA or CPA;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal;
- Attention to detail a must;
- Must be able to work in a small team in a leading or assisting role;
- Have experience in both advisory and compliance.
