The purpose of this role is to support the Business Unit Controller - Brisbane Operations in providing financial business partnership to the Brisbane Operations and the Global M&L Organisation as required. Specifically, this role will support the Brisbane Manufacturing Site, Engineering Managers and NPI team. Key responsibilities include supporting month end close and reporting, maintaining an effective control environment, weekly management reporting, and other ad hoc projects as required.

The successful candidate for this role will hold:

  • Experience in Tier 1 systems including ERP (preferably SAP or similar), BI (preferably Hyperion or similar)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, attention to detail and advanced financial modelling
  • Holds 2-5 years commercial experience in a multinational organization
  • Confident in dealing with a range of stakeholders (department managers, project managers, technical engineers).
  • Demonstrated abilities to drive process excellence and communicate effectively across the business.

What will make you stand out?

  • Professional accounting qualifications (Chartered, CPA or CIMA)
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
  • Experience in a Manufacturing costing environment
