Healthscope's Victorian Centralised Collection Office is looking to employ an Accounts Debtors Officer to join their busy Collections team. In this challenging role, you will bring excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and within a team to achieve individual and team objectives.
As an Accounts Debtors Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Receipt of patient accounts
- Debtor management for both patient and health fund and insurers
- Liaise with private health insurers and funds
- Daily banking duties
- General administrative duties
Based at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre - Glen Waverley
Selection Criteria:
- Knowledge of Private Health Fund contracts and claiming process
- Demonstrated understanding in receipt and bank reconciliation
- Previous experience in hospital administration environment
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organisational and time management capabilities
- Excellent computer skills (i.e. WebPAS, Technology One, MS Word and MS Excel)
