The Office of Responsible Gambling, within the Liquor, Gaming & Racing Division, leads the development of responsible gambling strategy and public policy advice and supports and manages the Responsible Gambling Fund, the Club grants Category 3 Fund and the Community Development Fund.
The Office develops and implements programs and initiatives as part of a strategic approach that supports responsible gambling and prevents and minimises the risk of gambling-related harm in the community
You will be responsible for the effective business and financial management of the three funds managed by the Office, to ensure all funds are fully accounted for and utilized in accordance with program objectives, budgets, and related decisions. s.
You will be instrumental in managing the financial aspects of the Office, including strategic budget planning and development and budget reporting to a broad range of internal customers.
We are looking for:
- An experienced financial expert and team player who can drive strategic priorities
- Exceptional communication and time management skills including the ability to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders, plan and prioritise work, managing competing timeframes with minimal supervision.
- Tertiary qualification in finance or business management will be highly regarded..
