The role
We currently have a number of exciting Finance Business Partner roles available throughout the Coles Group. Our Finance Business Partners play a critical role in driving results and are a talent pool for our future finance leaders.
You will partner with senior business stakeholders to help them make informed decisions and to drive, influence and challenge commercial outcomes.
You will bring experience in analysing data to provide commercial insights and will be able to simplify a complex financial story to non-financial stakeholders. An influencer, you will have a proven ability to partner key stakeholders to drive business change.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- a CA/CPA qualification
- a passion for retail and a proven track record of driving commercial outcomes
- excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- the ability to problem solve, simplify and drive continuous improvement
- advanced Excel skills to analyse and interrogate data to generate meaningful insight
- experience in the retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- partner key stakeholders to help them understand the drivers of business performance and identify risks and opportunities
- provide strategic decision support and governance on key business initiatives
- lead the budgeting and planning process; establish and monitor KPIs
- analyse complex problems and simplify into actionable insight that will drive commercial performance
- critically review key processes and controls to drive continuous improvement
