Client Details
Our client is an ASX retail organisation with operations across APAC who has seen consistent year on year growth over the past 10 years. As a result of recent growth, new opportunities within the team have arisen a newly created role has become available for an accounting manager. This role will support the Australian business with driving month end process, delivering timely & accurate financials to the business and leading a small team.
Role Profile
Reporting directly to the GM Finance for the business unit, you will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for the delivery of high quality financial accounting and reporting for various corporate entities
- All financial accounting including treasury, the preparation of income and balance sheet statements, consolidated and various other accounting statements and reports.
- Provide support with coordination of internal and external audits and assist in closing corrective actions as identified.
- Delivery of accounting and month/quarter end close for various Australian entities.
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of outputs from the accounting
- team.
- Management of AP function and 2 accountants
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be:
- CA/CPA Qualified with 3-5 years PQE minimum
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Able to start immediately or at short notice
